Notice is hereby given that the Collier County Planning Commission meeting scheduled for 9 a.m., Thursday, April 19, has been continued to 9 a.m., Thursday, May 3, in the Board of County Commissioners chambers, third floor, Collier County Government Center, 3299 Tamiami Trail E., Naples, Florida 34112. The meeting will be broadcast live with closed captioning on Collier Television and via www.colliercountyfl.gov.

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 89-05, AS AMENDED, THE COLLIER COUNTY GROWTH MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA, SPECIFICALLY AMENDING THE FUTURE LAND USE ELEMENT AND FUTURE LAND USE MAP AND MAP SERIES BY ADDING THE EAST TAMIAMI TRAIL COMMERCIAL INFILL SUBDISTRICT TO THE URBAN—COMMERCIAL DISTRICT AND CHANGING THE DESIGNATION OF PROPERTY FROM URBAN COASTAL FRINGE SUBDISTRICT TO EAST TAMIAMI TRAIL COMMERCIAL INFILL SUBDISTRICT TO ALLOW 60,000 SQUARE FEET OF COMMERCIAL INTERMEDIATE (C-3) USES AND AN AIR-CONDITIONED AND ENCLOSED SELF-STORAGE FACILITY; AND FURTHERMORE, RECOMMENDING TRANSMITTAL OF THE ADOPTED AMENDMENT TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2004-41, AS AMENDED, THE COLLIER COUNTY LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, WHICH ESTABLISHED THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING REGULATIONS FOR THE UNINCORPORATED AREA OF COLLIER COUNTY, FLORIDA BY AMENDING THE APPROPRIATE ZONING ATLAS MAP OR MAPS BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE HEREIN DESCRIBED REAL PROPERTY FROM A RURAL AGRICULTURAL (A) ZONING DISTRICT TO A COMMERCIAL PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (CPUD) ZONING DISTRICT FOR THE PROJECT KNOWN AS TORRES FAMILY TRUST CPUD TO ALLOW DEVELOPMENT OF UP TO 60,000 SQUARE FEET OF GROSS FLOOR AREA OF COMMERCIAL USES INCLUDING AIR CONDITIONED MINI SELF-STORAGE WAREHOUSING, AND ALLOWING ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES AT A FLOOR AREA RATIO OF .60 AND AND BY PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. About the public meeting:

All interested parties are invited to attend, and to register to speak. All registered public speakers will be limited to three minutes unless permission for additional time is granted by the chairman.

Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-05 requires that all lobbyists shall, before engaging in any lobbying activities (including, but not limited to, addressing the Board of County Commissioners, an advisory board or quasi-judicial board), register with the Clerk to the Board at the Board Minutes and Records Department.
