Road Alert Update - June 5, 2018

ROAD ALERT UPDATE

 

This ROAD ALERT UPDATE was prepared by the Collier County Growth Management Department to inform the community about scheduled road construction and road maintenance projects along major roadways in Collier County where lane closures are planned or traffic flow may be affected.

 COLLIER COUNTY CONSTRUCTION/MAINTENANCE PROJECTS:

Davis Boulevard at Kings Lake Square – On Davis Boulevard at Kings Lake Square expect westbound traffic to be diverted to one lane on the south side of the median and eastbound traffic to be reduced to one lane as well while crews work to repair a broken force main under the roadway in the westbound travel lanes.  Crews expect to have repairs completed by Wednesday, June 6, weather permitting. Drivers are advised to stay alert and drive with care. Lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs and barricades will be used to assist travelers in this area.  

Immokalee Road between US 41 and Main Street (in Immokalee)– On Immokalee Road between US 41 and Main Street in Immokalee expect intermittent eastbound and westbound travel lane and turn lane closures beginning on Wednesday, June 6 for approximately two weeks from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, as crews repair roadside signs. Lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs and barricades will be used to assist travelers in this area. 

Pine Ridge Road near Caribbean Drive – On Pine Ridge Road near Caribbean Drive expect the westbound left turn lane onto Caribbean Drive to be partially closed to traffic on Wednesday, June 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., weather permitting, as crews perform maintenance to the stormwater system. Drivers needing to turn left will still be permitted to do so. Lighted arrow boards, advance warning signs and barricades will be used to assist travelers in this area.
