Fertilizer Ordinance Workshop

Notice is hereby given that the Collier County Board of County Commissioners will hold a fertilizer ordinance workshop at 1 p.m., Tuesday, February 5, in the Board of County Commissioners chambers, third floor, Collier County Government Center, 3299 Tamiami Trail E., Naples, Florida 34112. The workshop will be broadcast live with closed captioning on Collier Television channel 97/98 and via live streaming at www.colliercountyfl.gov.
The purpose of this workshop is to discuss Collier County Ordinance 11-24, the Florida-friendly Use of Fertilizer on Urban Landscapes.
About the public meeting:
Two or more members of the Environmental Advisory Committee, Comprehensive Watershed Improvement Program Committee, City of Naples City Council, and the City of Marco Island City Council may be present and may participate at the meeting. The subject matter of this meeting may be an item for discussion and action at a future meeting of those boards and committees.
All interested parties are invited to attend and to register to speak. All registered public speakers will be limited to three minutes unless permission for additional time is granted by the chairman.
Collier County Ordinance No. 2004-05 requires that all lobbyists shall, before engaging in any lobbying activities (including, but not limited to, addressing the Board of County Commissioners, an advisory board or quasi-judicial board), register with the Clerk to the Board at the Board Minutes and Records Department.
