Collier County Arts and Culture Strategic Plan Community Forums
Begin Tuesday, September 17, 2019

The public is invited to join the conversation about enhancing the future of arts and culture in Collier County as part of the county’s Arts and Culture Strategic Plan process. A planning taskforce led by top cultural and community leaders, in partnership with consulting team The Cultural Planning Group, is gathering input from the county’s arts, culture, and creative sectors, patrons, advocates, and residents.

“We are focused on engaging all Collier County residents throughout the planning process,” said Jack Wert, executive director of the Naples, Marco Island, Everglades Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The public’s input on the current state of arts, culture, and creative opportunities is essential to helping us better integrate these into the priorities of local government and the community overall, creating a dynamic arts and culture destination, with greater access for all.”

Attendees are encouraged to share their opinions and ideas about the county’s arts and cultural future. Numerous engagement opportunities are being offered, including the online survey at Collier Cultural Community Survey, topic-focused discussion groups, open community forums, and social media.
