Immokalee Rural Enterprise Zone (EZ)
An Enterprise Zone is a specific geographic area targeted for economic revitalizing. Enterprise Zones encourage economic growth and investment in distressed areas by offering tax advantages and incentives to businesses locating within the zone boundaries. The incentives, provided by both state and local government, aim to induce private investment into distressed areas to create economic opportunities and sustainable economic development within the respective designated enterprise zone.
