All fees are established by resolution and may be amended.

Animals surrendered by their owners and animals reclaimed by their owners are subject to fees for age appropriate vaccines based on species of animals to include; rabies vaccine, canine vaccine, Bordetella, and feline vaccine in addition to reclaim fees and surrender fees if owner is unable to provide proof of vaccines at time of surrender or at time of reclaim.

Rescue adoptions may only be performed by organizations who possess a 501(c)3 standing, have an established mission statement, and are an approved rescue partner, in good standing with Domestic Animal Services.

Rescue transfers may only be performed by organizations that have a licensed veterinarian on staff; organizations receiving rescue transfers assume responsibility for compliance with F.S. 823.15.
