Florida Statutes require that all real estate and interests therein be appraised by an independent appraiser prior to being purchased by the County. Real estate valued $2,500,000 and greater requires two appraisals prepared by independent appraisers.
The Board of County Commissioners can waive the requirement for an independent appraisal on real estate valued less than $1 million. When waived, the staff Real Estate Appraiser will prepare an appraisal.
If you have questions regarding appraisal services, please email Mr. Roosevelt Leonard, Real Estate Appraiser, at: email@example.com.
